WOGENRAIN Grüner Veltliner
"Wogenrain" - our trademark covered naming for the Middle High German designation of Wagram - the soft, hilly region.
Grüner Veltliner is currently the main variety on Wagram. For that variety exist various variants.
Our "Wogenrain" wine is based on a variety of vines all around Gösing. The conglomerate creates
a light and digestible, though characterful wine.
Perfect, ripe berries are pressed gently. Resulting must will ferment slowly in stainless steel tanks. Long maturation on
the yeast is followed by gentle pre-filtration on Diatoms (fossile seaweed finely ground). Wogenrain will be kept in
stainless steel tanks until bottled, thus preserving its freshness and fruit.
Screw-capped with glass inlay and 50% wood content in cap shell
